I'm Kenneth F. Crowe, a 76-year-old writer, observer, and lifelong American living in Malone, NY — up here where the Adirondacks meet the Canadian border, where common sense still matters.

I started America As I See It because I got tired of being told what to think.

This isn't a news site. It's not polished politics. It's one man — sitting at his desk with a notebook, a cup of coffee, and a view of real America — writing down what he sees.

What I Believe

I believe in God, family, hard work, and this country.

I believe America is still the greatest idea in the history of the world, even when we get it wrong.

I believe you don't need a degree from Harvard to know right from wrong — you just need to pay attention.

Why I Write

I've lived long enough to see a lot of change — some good, some not so good. I've learned that if you don't write down what you believe, someone else will write it for you.

So I write.

I write for my neighbors. I write for my family. I write for anyone who still believes that America is worth thinking about, talking about, and fighting for.
