FAITH, FAMILY AND SMALL TOWN AMERICA
By Kenneth F. Crowe | Malone, NY | americaasiseeit.com
This is Cooks Corners. This is Brushton. This is Malone.
Right here in Franklin County, we still have what a lot of places lost. A little white church like the one in this picture. A flag that still flies every day, not just on holidays. Fields that feed people.
I went to Cooks Corners Wesleyan Church on Avery Road for 48 years. That's where I learned faith means showing up. Family means staying. America means One Flag, One Constitution.
They say small towns are dying. Come to Malone and see. Main Street is still here. The farmers are still here. The volunteer firefighters are still here. We help each other because that's what neighbors do.
I lost my house in a fire in Malone. Lost 50 years of collecting. But the town didn't let me fall. That's small-town America. That's what I write about every day on America As I See It.
The red wave people talk about? It's not just politics. It's common sense coming back. Faith. Family. Work hard. Tell the truth. Love your country.
That's what I see from Malone, NY.
